About Us

The Penningtons have  lived in China for a  combined 14 years. Together they have hosted students for over 5 years while raising their own two children.  Jennifer’s MA in Intercultural studies has allowed her to work in internationally focused programs for the last 15 years, with several years focused solely on international student homestay and education.

The Penningtons have experienced the demands of living overseas both as an international student and as a business developer, so they understand how to guide a student through the process. Jeff currently teaches Chinese, and has several years’ experience working with students in their homestays and with learners of English in the classroom setting.
